Hey guys! This is a poll for those of you who read my fic...or like, those of you who read my Final Fantasy fic, anyway. I have been posting Deeper Understanding (the Angeal/Sephiroth/Genesis/Zack OT4) at FF.net. It's got some minor edits and one larger one in the latest chapter, but anyway. I'm going to be adding chapters in closing the gap between part IX and part X, SO, this means first time OT4 smut and things.

The deal is, I haven't formatted any of it in LJ tags, I've just done it as FF.net takes it, which means without the tags and stuff, so I'd have to go in and retag everything, and what with my tendency to get italically emphatic, that's a hefty chore. I'm willing to do it, but not terribly excited about it, SO, I'm wondering how many people would reread if I did it, OR if you guys would be cool with me just linking to the other site? I know there are some hardcore anti-fanfiction.net people among us, so I thought I'd ask to see.

This also may or may not have to do with the fact that I've had a paid account for months and haven't yet abused the poll feature and I'm indulging myself. I've got this thing for radio buttons, okay?!

Poll #1230601 Reformat? Y/N/IDK?

Should I reformat and post to LJ?

One of the reasons people avoid FF.Net is they can get Malware from it. (it infected my friends computer) but it's your fic, so you should post where and when you want.

....I didn't know that. That is less than reassuring.

You are totally already on ff.net though, so you could read it there, too. ;D

I first read it here, then I read it again on ff.net, now I'm set to read it again >:]

Lol @ the radio buttons. Silly girl. <3

I hope no one votes for the last option. D: The fandom needs you. Badly. Even if they don't realize it yet.

I'm totally cool with linking to ff.net, as that's what I do, myself, unless the fic's rating warrants an lj-only posting. So it depends on the content, maybe?

*taps foot* I see no answers in my poll from certain people. *looks at pointedly* Should I edit it, so that you can leave comments in them too, to explain WHY you have chosen that answer? ;D

And the last choice was really just because they gave me four blanks to fill out, and I couldn't just leave one empty!

Was debating between IDK and Yes, and went with Yes, because even though IDK because I'll read it wherever you post it, LJ is pretty.

You can't look at me pointedly when I'm wearing my baby!Cloud userpic, can you? *insert evil laugh here*

CLICKY BUTTONS!!! :D

I vote yes, but then again I'm biased cos I hate FF.net (or more like it hates me!) and I'd love to read it!

There was only room for one yes in the poll answer, so here's a few more....YESYESYESYESYES!!!

I did just go look at the fic at FF.net and couldn't find chapter 10. Am I just being thick?

And no, I haven't posted 10 there yet. I'm gonna post these other chapters that close that gap first...

Or...hm. Maybe I could like, post the final chapter, and then do an entirely different fic with like, "DU, the lost logs" or something, lol. I don't know! Hmmmmmm

Doing that all sounds like way too much work. I say links should do the trick.

Never had any troubles with ff.net. Why do people have the hate for it? No matter where to put it, I'll read it. I'll re-read it. I have re-read it.

I love that story so much, I can't even tell you in enough adjectives how awesome it is. <3

Also, more A7X won't hurt, you prolific little darling. ;3

Let this be a lesson to me as well: People prefer LJ posting. Hm. But I like having it in one, organized place, and LJ doesn't track all the things that FF.net does. Shame.

Interesting FF.net trivia:

I found FF.net right after I played FFVIII for the first time, so it was 99 or 2000, and I was into it for a long time. The rating system used to be the same as a movie rating system, G - NC-17 and it was hugely popular and there was a LOT of good stuff and good authors on that site.

(I had to look up the correct year) In 2002, the owner of the site updated the news thing on the front page to let everyone know that as of some date in the near future, FF.net would no longer allow NC17 rated material, at all. Authors had I think 30 days to back up and delete their stories from the site.

Needless to say, people were pissed. I think half the members of that site left on sheer principle. I'm pretty sure that a whole lot of LJ users came to LJ because of that restriction. It was pretty much every author I had favorited (not all of whom even wrote NC17 fics) that left the site and refused to post there anymore. I didn't stick around there for too long after because no one was left there.

But anyway, the point: I know there are people who don't post on/visit that site because of that.

I remember that, yeah, I'd just discovered ff.net a little before they made that change. I just didn't really see the results. They do have an adultfanfiction.net XD
